Malaysian International Fully Funded Scholarship

After two years, Malaysia has finally opened the scholarship. It is a fully-funded scholarship, so, all the expenses will be covered by the Authority. Students receive scholarships for studying master or Ph.D. in Malaysian public universities. There is no IELTS/ English language proficiency requirement for this scholarship. The age limit for master is 40 years and Ph.D. is 45 years. All Malaysian public universities are included in this scholarship. A list of Malaysian Public universities is HERE. Benefits of the scholarship

• The scholarship will provide a monthly living allowance of 1500 RMB.
• Tuition fees and health insurance will be covered.
• A thesis allowance will be given.
• The scholarship does not provide air flight tickets. Students have to buy their own tickets.

• CV. Should be very well structured. 
• Motivation letter
• A written proposal of 1000 words related to the field of study.
• Recommendation letter. Generally, applicants need to submit two recommendation letter. The letters are submitted online. While submitting the scholarship form applicants mention details of two recommenders and recommenders get link in their email to submit recommendation for the applicant. 
• Medium of instruction (MOI) is accepted if the previous study was in English.

Hacks for the scholarship

It is not very difficult to get this scholarship. I have talked to some scholars who received this scholarship and currently studying in Malaysia. According to them, it is better if you contact one/two professors before applying for the scholarship and mention their names on the application form. Also, having two or more publications increases the chances of getting the scholarship by 30%. therefore, if you fulfill all the basic requirements and you have a contact professor and 2/3 publications, you are almost guaranteed to get the scholarship.
