Italian Government Scholarship
The call for applications for Italian universities has started. This is a great opportunity to study full free at Italian universities. The ministry of foreign affairs and international cooperation provides this scholarship to students from all over the world. This scholarship provides funds for Master and Ph.D. students. There is no requirement for IELTS. Students can submit an English medium of instruction (MOI) certificate from bachelor's university. Let's now discuss Italian Government Scholarshipin depth.

Scholarship amount
- Scholarship holder do not need to pay enrollment fee and tuition fee of the university.
- Full health insurance will be provided to students.
- A living allowance of 900 euros will be provided to the awardee.
Eligibility criteria
Only foreign students (students from outside Italy) can apply for this scholarship. Also, Italian residents living in other countries can apply for this scholarship.
">For master's application, the age limit is 28 years while for Ph.D. application, the age limit is 30 years. Whereas, applicants for the research projects should not be more than 40 years old.
Applicants who did their bachelor/Master is English do not need to submit any English language proficiency certificate. They can submit English MOI.
Knowing Italian is not mandatory for this scholarship. However, if you choose any subject or topic which will be taught in Italian then you have to provide an Italian proficiency language certificate. Usually, the scholarship authority will provide you extra funds for 3 months to learn the language. After your course, you have to take the proficiency test and must provide a valid certificate to get enrolled properly. Some courses may require a English proficiency certificate of B2 level.
For exclusive Ph.D. candidates, they must submit a research proposal including the name of the research supervisor. But, you already have received admission from a university, then just upload the admission letter of that university.
How to apply
The application procedure is entirely online. Students can submit their application Here. The deadline for application is 9th June every year.
After going to the above-mentioned website, you need to create an account first. Then, click on apply. It will redirect you to a form having some sections. You have to fill all the sections carefully with your personal information, educational qualification, job experience (if you have any), and also information about recommenders. After you submit your form your recommenders will get a mail to provide your recommendation. When your recommenders will submit your recommendation, then your application will be fully submitted and ready for review.
