Aalto university master scholarship
Any European student applying for graduate studies at Aalto University does not need to provide any tuition fee. The study is completely free at the university for students from European Union or European Economic Area (EEA). However, all non-EU students need to pay tuition fees to study at the university. The tuition fee is comparatively higher at the university. The tuition fee ranges from €12000 to €15000 per academic year depending on the program. €15000 per year for the graduate degree program and €12 000 per year for bachelor degree program. The paid tuition fee covers all the expenses needed for studying for one year including exams, supervision, notes, papers, etc. The university does not allow to pay tuition fees in installments, students have to pay the whole tuition fee for one academic year in one installment. However, this tuition fee is fully refundable if the student does not get a residence permit in Finland. Scholarships at Aalto University
There are three types of scholarships available at the university for international students who are subjected to pay tuition fees. Double degree programs have separate policies for tuition and scholarship schemes. Aalto university retains the complete authority to make changes to schemes at any time.

Aalto university scholarship program
This is a merit-based scholarship and is granted on a competitive basis. The number of scholarships are limited and depended on the fund available and the number of students got admission in one cycle. This scholarship has two categories (1) Category B (50% tuition waiver) (2) Category A (100% tuition waiver). This is basically a tuition fee waiver scholarship. It does not provide any living allowance or health insurance or additional funds. The scholarship is provided for both bachelor's degree and master's degree programs. Students need to be full-time students to apply for this scholarship.
Aalto university intensive scholarship program
This scholarship can be provided to students who did not receive the Aalto university scholarship program scholarship during their admission. They can apply for this scholarship after completing 60 ECTS credits. The scholarship amount is 1500 euros and can be only paid in the autumn terms.
Finland scholarship for master's students
This scholarship is the best scholarship among all three scholarships provided by the university. It covers the full tuition fees and a yearly allowance of 5000 euros for living expenses. This money is provided to the student when he arrives in Finland. When a student applies to Aalto university he can mention in his application that he wants to apply for this scholarship, no separate application form is needed. University publishes the scholarship result with the admission result in the same mail send to the applicant.
