Erasmus Mundus Scholarship 

The Erasmus Mundus Scholarship is also known as the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree. The Programs support European top-quality Master's Courses and enhance the visibility and attractiveness of European higher education in third countries. There are around 160+ courses available that are funded by the European Commission. Students from all over the world can apply for these scholarships. There is no application fee and most of the programs do not require any English language proficiency test results. For courses announced before 2022, students can apply up to 3 courses, however, for courses announced after 2022, students can apply to as many courses as they want. Subjects available

Currently, there are over 160 subjects under the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship umbrella that nearly covers all the study fields available. The courses are consisting of usually 2-4 European universities. The major fields which are covered by this scholarship but are not limited to -

Scholarship benefits

  • Monthly allowance- 1000 euros per month for courses started before 2022. 1400 euros for courses started after 2022.
">Full tuition fee covered. 
  • Travel allowances- 4000 euros in the first year. 3000 euro in the second year
  • Research grant

  • Requirements

    • Valid passport
    • Nationality certificated (should not be more than 6 months old)
    • Statement of purpose/motivational letter
    • Recommendation letter from teachers/supervisor (can be academic or professional/workplace)

    Application time

    The application time varies from subject to subject. Normally, the application starts in October and ends in March every year. There is no application fee.

    What if you do not get the scholarships

    There is nothing to worry much about if you do not get the full scholarship. There are tons of partial funds available. If you make your way to the waiting list there is a very high probability that you will get partial funds may be a tuition waiver, mobility fee or both. Also, if you want to pursue self-funded study that is also possible. However, it is not recommended to pursue self-fund as the total cost of the two-year program is around 40,000 euros minimum.
